Guest conductor Carlos Kalmar, the longtime music director of the Oregon Symphony whose Carnegie Hall debut with that ensemble was enthusiastically described by The New Yorker's Alex Ross as "one of the most gripping events" of that season, leads the Yale Philharmonia in a program of music by Britten and Vaughan Williams.
