Guest conductor Ludovic Morlot, whose recent leadership of the Seattle Symphony earned that ensemble Gramophone’s 2018 Orchestra of the Year award, conducts Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony, Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No. 1, with Woolsey Hall Concerto Competition winner Jung Eun Kang.

Szymanowski: Violin Concerto No. 1, Op. 35
Prokofiev: Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major, Op. 100
