Known for his “rich cello tone and polished phrasing” (The Classic Review), Steven Isserlis performs a program featuring works by Beethoven and Schumann — played on his signature Stradivarius, the 1726 Marquis de Corberon (Nelsova). He is joined by longtime collaborator pianist Connie Shih.
