Description

Yale Philharmonia

An evening of passion from a kaleidoscope of musical perspectives in the School’s intimate Morse Recital Hall. Join the Yale Philharmonia under the baton of Stefano Boccacci ’25MMA as they take audiences through a journey of the spectrum of human struggle and joy. The program will include Piazzolla’s lush and vibrant Tangazo: Variations on Buenos Aires, a fusion of dance and classical music traditions, contrasted with Schumann’s famous delicate and contemplative symbol of love to his wife, Piano Concerto in A Minor, and Brahms’ luxurious, ambitious, and deeply romantic masterpiece, Symphony No. 1. Schumann's Concerto features Vitaly Starikov '26AD as the soloist.

Piazzolla: Tangazo-Variations on Buenos Aires
