Guest conductor David Robertson leads the Yale Philharmonia and violinist Laura Park, a winner of the 2017 Woolsey Hall Concerto Competition, in a performance of Walton’s Violin Concerto, on a program that also includes Rouse’s Rapture and Strauss’ breathtaking tone poem Ein Heldenleben.
